Keck Geology Consortium wins three-year NSF grant

The Keck Geology Consortium, a nation-wide group of 18 liberal arts colleges dedicated to supporting undergraduate research in the geosciences, has received a three-year, $550,000 grant from the National Science Foundation.

The Consortium owes it start to Williams professors Bud Wobus and Bill Fox (emeritus), who wrote the founding grant in 1986. Twenty-eight years later, Bud remains a leader in the Consortium and an active participant in the research it supports.

More information on the grant and on the Consortium can be found in this press release, from the College’s Office of Communications.
